To give our bodies the best chance to stay healthy we need to look even closer at our indoor environment. Many everyday items we fill our homes with can offgas VOCs sometimes for years. Building materials, furniture, bedding, toys, cookware, plastics, personal Care and cleaning products, mould, allergens, heavy metals and Electromagnetic Radiation can all adversely affect our health over time. At Elegantly Evolve we consider all of these factors and teach you how to reduce exposure to indoor health hazards and create a healthy External Pollution Check – research of local environmental risks Indoor Air Quality Spot Test – screening for CO₂, humidity, and VOC indicators. Indoor Air Quality Testing in real time will be conducted in various rooms, the parameters measured include: Particulate matter (PM2.5); Carbon dioxide; Carbon Monoxide; Nitrogen Dioxide; VOCs; ozone; air pressure; temperature and relative humidity. - (For a more detailed VOC assessment see the VOC & Formaldehyde testing.) Product Review – assessment of your cleaning & personal care products, with safer recommendations. All personal care products and cleaning products will be analysed and discussed. You will learn how to read labels and decipher the ‘green washing’ Kitchen Audit – overview of pantry staples & cookware risks - An evaluation of your pantry and fridge will be done if required. You will learn which foods or brands to avoid and what to look for when you go to the supermarket. An assessment of your cookware and food storage containers will be undertaken and safer alternatives discussed. Our water can contain heavy metals, pesticides, antibiotics, pharmaceuticals, parasites, THM’s, chloramines and much more. You will learn about the contaminants in water and will be advised on the most suitable water filtration system for your family’s needs.
